老樅水仙(Old fir Narcissus)作為武夷巖茶的當家品種四大名樅之一,和大紅袍、肉桂是閩北烏龍茶的代表,是武夷巖茶的傳統優(yōu)質(zhì)品種.
老樅水仙茶葉葉質(zhì)綿軟,成份豐富,老樅水仙茶湯味極濃醇且厚重,湯水順滑又兼具有陳年茶之味。老樅水仙為水仙茶中極品。水仙茶樹(shù)品種屬無(wú)性系、大葉、晚生種型,葉片比普通小葉種大一倍以上,葉質(zhì)肥厚。老樅水仙其條索肥壯,色澤綠褐油潤而帶寶色。老樅水仙香濃辛銳、清長(cháng),有獨特的"蘭花香"。老樅水仙茶湯味濃醇厚,喉韻明顯,回甘清爽,湯色濃艷呈橙黃色,葉底軟亮,耐沖泡。 老樅水仙屬小喬木型大葉類(lèi),所謂老樅,是指茶樹(shù)樹(shù)齡長(cháng),至少有二十年以上,有的甚至百年以上.外觀(guān)條索較粗壯,呈油亮蛙皮青色.條索緊結沉重,葉端扭曲,色澤滑潤暗沙綠.香氣濃郁,有一股很幽很柔的蘭花香,有的則帶乳香和水仙花香.滋味醇厚回甘,湯色清澈橙黃,葉底厚軟黃亮,葉綠朱砂紅邊或紅點(diǎn),既"三紅七青".

老樅水仙(Old fir Narcissus)一般是指五六十年以上樹(shù)齡的水仙茶樹(shù),在武夷巖茶巖骨花香的基礎上突出蘭花香和樅味,抓老樅的樅味,主要有三味:木質(zhì)味、青苔味、糙米味。老樅水仙屬武夷巖茶制作的工藝與巖茶制作工藝大致相同,老樅水仙屬于中輕焙火味醇清香。
